All-time top scorer on the road in one La Liga season

Cristiano Ronaldo became Real Madrid's all-time top scorer on the road in one La Liga season thanks to the hat-trick he netted in the 4-1 victory over Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon. His away tally is of 20 goals.

With five games left in the championship, Ronaldo has already scored 41 goals in La Liga during the present campaign, breaking his own 40 strike record of the previous season. He has also broken Dani Guiza's record 19 on the road strikes from the 2007/08 campaign.

Ronaldo scored 26 league goals in his first season on the team, netting 13 at the Bernabeu and 13 on the road. Last season he banked 40 in total, scoring 26 in Madrid and 14 in away clashes. His victims on the road this year have so far been Zaragoza (3 goals), Malaga (3), Valencia (1), Sporting Gijon (1), Sevilla (3), Rayo Vallecano (1), Betis (2), Villarreal (1), Osasuna (2) and Atletico Madrid (3).
